虽然COP25谈判不尽如人意，但从会场中各边会主题及讨论热度来看，包括国家、企业、民间组织、金融机构等在内的各利益相关方正在通过自身努力和多方合作贡献于气候变化行动，以及气候变化与其他议题协同效应。同时，从此次会议举办的各类讨论来看，基于自然的解决方案(Nature-based Solution, NbS)无疑是最受各方关注的热点之一。由于其在气候变化减缓和适应方面潜力巨大，可促进经济、社会和环境多重效益，并与可持续发展的多个领域有广泛的协同效应，NbS理所当然地成为增强气候雄心和实现联合国2030可持续发展目标的热门议题之一。

2019年10月29日，以“绿色合作·创新共赢”为主题的“一带一路”绿色发展平台第四届论坛在北京举办。参会代表就国内外绿色合作经验交流、带路绿色投资实践等展开深入讨论，并就在应对气候变化、推动可再生能源投资、提升可持续基础设施互联互通、共建低碳城市、保护生物多样性等方面加强合作等议题进行了专题讨论。
