Greenovation Hub’s Finance and Climate Policy Centre ( www.ghub.org/cfc )is seeking a qualified individual towork as an intern to support the work of the center.

Greenovation Hub is a grassroot environmental NGO with a global outlook. G:HUB believes that development should be ecological, and only by collaborative effort can environmentalproblems be solved. We provide innovative tools to enable wider public participation inenvironmental protection and foster joint power of civil society, business and governmentto accelerate China’s green transition.
Internship Overview
G:HUB Policy Centre conducts research and policy advocacy on issues related to climate change,green finance and ocean protection. The internship will provide the successfulcandidate with an opportunity to be involved in:
1. research on climate change and investment/finance issues;
2. writing and analysis;
3. supporting and joining workshop activities; and
4. general support and administrative tasks.
The intern will have the opportunity to work in new and dynamic grassroot NGO research topics vital to China’s green transition, and to develop valuable experience working ina local civil society organization.
Internship Details
The internship requires a commitment of a minimum of 20 hours per week, and will last for at least 3 months starting from March.
This is an unpaid internship, however, G:HUB will be able to provide a basic stipend tocover basic expenses such as transportation and food.
Necessary Qualifications
Most importantly, G:HUB seeks applicants with a commitment to environmental protectionand/or responsible investment and corporate social responsibility. Additionally:
1. Applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area, such as, Environmental Science & Policy, Law, International Relations, Economics, Finance, and Sociology.(In exceptional cases, we may consider someone in their final year of study.)
2. Applicants must be based in Beijing.
3. Applicants must be able to follow guidance from their supervisor, and also be able to takeinitiative and work independently as and when necessary.
4. Applicants must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks according todeadlines.
5. Applicants must have good communication skills and be comfortable working as part of a team.
6. Experience in research and analysis is highly desirable.
7. Applicants must be dedicated,committed and flexible.
8. Finally, applicants must be comfortable to communicate in English at least at an intermediatelevel.
